Span Engineering have the capability and experience to carry out installation and maintenance services in a wide range of difficult to access environments, either working alongside our clients workforce to provide safe and cost effective access to one part of a larger project, or to provide a complete package of staff and equipment to manage an entire installation or repair project in-house.
We have extensive experience in the mobile telecommunications sector, with staff trained and certified in antennae rigging and feeder cable installation - to masts, roof tops and external walls, as well as cell site construction, optimisation, maintenance and emergency repair works.
In the building and construction sector we have the capability to carry out a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks to building envelopes, including such items as waterproofing and sealant application, concrete repair, and cladding and glazing works. We have experience in de-scaling, debris meshing and emergency repair works on high-rise buildings up to 70 stories in height.
In the M&E sector we have performed installation and maintenance work to fire suppression systems, auto-vents, and alarm systems, working in unique environments such as museums or secure office buildings. We are able to carry out lighting unit maintenance inside and outdoors, from bulb replacement to complete unit repairs and replacement. We install and maintain remote sensing equipment, and have particular experience in their use on long span bridges.
